Training Facilities & Location
All training courses will take place in a dedicated training room in my house, located in the village of Marldon, just outside Paignton and Torquay, in South Devon . The house is easy to find and detailed directions will be provided to participants before the course. There is ample parking on-site. The training room is at the top of the house and it should be noted that there are a number of stairs to the room and anybody concerned about access is advised to make contact prior to booking.
If you are travelling some distance and would like overnight accommodation in the area there are many choices. The old market town of Totnes and the seaside town of Paignton are both about 10 minutes away by car. Torquay and Brixham are about 15-20 minutes away. All these towns have a range of B&Bs, small guest houses and larger hotels and I can provide a list with a few suggestions in each town if required - please ask!

Training is given on PC computers running Windows 7 and every participant will use a dedicated computer, loaded with the relevant software. Anybody wishing to use a Mac computer is very welcome to bring their own providing it has the correct software installed. Comprehensive course notes will provided in PDF format on CD, and a printed version is available at a small extra cost. Participants will also receive a Certificate to mark their attendance on the course.
The training is totally "hands-on" with each participant working through the exercises in tandem with me. The training room is provided with a state-of-the-art projector and large screen so that participants can follow along. There will be a maximum of 3 participants on any one course.
Courses start at 9.30am and finish by 5.00 pm . Participants are advised to arrive by 9.15am so the course can start promptly. Refreshment will be provided throughout the day and a light lunch is included in the price. If lunch is not required, or if you have any special dietary requirements, please let me know in advance.
Courses at Your Location
If you would prefer for the course to be run at your location, whether it is home or office based, this can be arranged. You can use your own computer if suitable software is already installed, or one from FarrowHouse Training. There would be a small price premium for this service, plus travelling expenses.
