Adobe Lightroom Training Courses
Adobe Lightroom is designed for serious amateur and professional photographers who have 1000's of photos which they need to organise, enhance and prepare for slideshow, print or web output as quickly and simply as possible. This 2 day course is set at the Beginner/Intermediate level and provides a thorough understanding of the capabilities of the software. It also shows you how to cut through the many, and often confusing, ways of achieving the same task by showing you the simplest and most efficient ways of working.
Course Outline
The course starts with a quick look at the way in which Lightroom works "behind the scene", and then goes on to explore each of the 5 modules in detail. Day 1 looks at how photos are imported into Lightroom, and then how to use the Library module to organise photos, apply flags, labels, ratings and keywords to your photos, and how to filter and find photos in amongst the 1000's in your collection.
Day 2 of the course starts by looking at the Develop module, which can be used to apply both simple and sophisticated tonal and colour corrections to your photos, and then briefly at how you can, and should, work between Lightroom and Photoshop/Elements if you have them both. Finally, the course looks at the 3 output modules which enable you to assemble slideshows, prepare images for printing, and assemble photos onto a web page.
